Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year produce experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests
• Assist with interviewing, training, scheduling, performance and productivity of department team members
• Assist with communicating information distribution to department
• Maintain positive atmosphere, spirit and morale within the department
• Demonstrate leadership by managing time and delegation
• Support division concepts and programs
• Contribute to achieving financial goals
• Ensure quality product availability and guest solutions
• Safeguard department assets and enforce policies
• Practice safe work habits and maintain store cleanliness and safe environment
• Ensure department systems are used correctly
• Plan production and promotion goals with Department Manager
• Coach and develop team members per policies and procedures
• Coordinate books and manuals and inventory processes
• Handle department issues during Department Manager absence
• Adhere to Food Safety Procedures
• Train checkers in produce recognition for guest satisfaction and correct charges
• Demonstrate conflict management skills
• Perform other duties as required by upper management
