Albertsons Companies is seeking a Produce Assistant Manager to lead guest relations and oversee department operations in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support the Department Manager with ordering, merchandising, training, and ensuring safe, efficient production and promotions.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, coaching of team members, adherence to food safety standards, and collaboration with store leadership to meet financial goals while maintaining top guest satisfaction.

Formación

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year produce experience.
• Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner.
• Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work within a fridge and/or freezer for long periods of time.
• Must possess basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.
• Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching and function as a team member.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with interviewing, training, scheduling, and evaluating department team members.
• Ensure clear communication of information across the department.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere and morale within the department.
• Demonstrate leadership by managing time and delegation.
• Support and execute division concepts and programs.
• Contribute to achieving financial goals and sales targets.
• Ensure quality product availability and guest satisfaction.
• Safeguard assets and ensure policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Collaborate with Department Manager for planning and meetings.
• Coach and develop team members as needed.
• Keep books and manuals updated.
• Coordinate inventory processes and reporting.
• Handle department issues in the manager's absence.
