Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company’s Produce Department is seeking a hands-on Assistant Produce Manager to maintain stock levels and quality across produce and floral products. You will collaborate with management to train partners and optimize inventory, while supporting sales and customer service goals.

You will review historical sales data and promotions, ensure food safety standards, and help create appealing product displays.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and 1+ year related experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age; 21+ to drive for Company business per policy.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains stock levels and quality of produce and floral products to meet Company standards.
• Trains and develops partners; schedules, plans, assigns and directs work with upper management.
• Reviews historical data on sales, ads and promotions; co-manages inventory and in-stock levels.
• Monitors product quality and food safety; adheres to labeling requirements.
• Promotes sales through suggestive selling and appealing displays.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the produce area.
