Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator to lead day-to-day department operations, supervise staff, manage scheduling, and maintain product availability and quality. You will drive customer service excellence, uphold food-safety standards, and support training and performance development within a fast-paced natural foods environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Experience in natural foods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and staffing to meet department needs.
• Support promotion decisions and development plans for staff.
• Participate in disciplinary actions as needed.
• Achieve sales, labor and margin goals for the department.
• Review sales goals and inventory costs to optimize margins.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues quickly.
• Monitor customer feedback and act on improvements.
• Ensure products are stocked, priced correctly and displayed.
• Ensure food safety and backroom organization standards.
• Train, supervise and mentor department team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment and attendance reliability.
• Utilize production planner and fresh dashboard tools.
