Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Communicate unit information to associates.

• Schedule adequately to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance reviews.
• Answer customer questions and locate products across the store.
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples.
• Review products for quality and freshness and take action as needed.
• Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve results.
• Create and execute promotions with store management.
• Educate associates about promotions and in-store events.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for sales and merchandising supervisors.
• Assist in budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting for the department.
• Manage price changes and shelf tags.
