Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the produce operation: merchandising, ordering, inventory and pricing.
• ServSafe certified.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; follow instructions.
• Able to work across multiple stores as business needs require.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide an open-door atmosphere with high associate morale and customer service; promote Respectful, Supportive and Totally Team Oriented leadership.
• Collaborate with team to build a strong produce department and maintain company image as service-oriented.
• Ensure department meets merchandising and performance standards; manage product displays and signage.
• Assist with inventory, security, and expense controls; maintain records and documentation for accounting.
• Address customer questions, offer samples, and help with special orders (fruit trays, baskets, platters, etc.).
• Minimize department expenses while preserving service level; ensure proper safety and sanitation practices.
• Guide onboarding and training for new department staff and ensure compliance with policies.
