Job summary

Peddler's Son in Phoenix, AZ is seeking delivery associates to join our team. You will reliably deliver orders, maintain safety, and present yourself in company uniforms.

A clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug tests are required; the role supports full-time or part-time hours with no CDL required. We offer a company vehicle provision and emphasize customer service as we help grow partnerships and serve the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent with good written and verbal skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment, post-accident and random drug testing and background checks.
• Must pass the DOT physical completed at a MBI center.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with no DWI convictions, revocation, or suspensions within the past 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use a handheld device for routing information and delivery details.
• Navigate routes throughout the delivery area.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED and deliver smiles to customers.
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs. and walk up stairs as needed.

Peddler's Son is looking for full or part-time delivery associates that are enthusiastic, team players to deliver Peddler's orders. Must have a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug test. (Safety Sensitive Job)

• All Drivers MUST provide a 39-month MVR prior to test driver

We have immediate openings for experienced service oriented Drivers. Professional Drivers are expected to be well presented in company uniforms drive safely obeying all traffic laws and maintain product integrity.

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.


• Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.


• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.


• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered


• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.


• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:


• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.


• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.

Workers, looking for part time gigs during the summer, winter, fall, or spring, are welcome as well. Previous delivery or driver experience is not necessary although we welcome drivers from other delivery services or ride sharing companies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old


• High School diploma or equivalent with good written and verbal skills


• Enjoy working with people in a fast paced and exciting environment


• Must be able to pass a driving skills practical test administered by company Transportation Manager


• Must pass a pre-employment, post accident and random drug testing and background checks are required for all applicants for this position


• Must pass the DOT physical completed at a MBI center


• Have a good understanding of the metropolitan area and able to navigate from map(s) and directions


• Must be willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, some weekends and holidays


• Physically able to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.


• Possess a valid driver’s license with no DWI convictions, revocation, or suspensions within the past 4 years


• No more than 1 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Additional Information

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis

the schedule is 5 to 6 days and willing to work weekends/paid hourly.
