Job 158593 - Produce Delivery Driver (DOT only NON-CDL)

Peddler's Son is looking for full or part-time delivery associates that are enthusiastic, team players to deliver Peddler's orders. Must have a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug test. (Safety Sensitive Job)

We have immediate openings for experienced service-oriented Drivers. Professional Drivers are expected to be well presented in company uniforms, drive safely obeying all traffic laws, and maintain product integrity.

• Company vehicle provided (No CDL or DOT required)
• All Drivers MUST provide a 39‑month MVR prior to test driver

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use a handheld device for routing information and customer delivery details.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Be customer obsessed. We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs during your shift.

Workers looking for part-time gigs during the summer, winter, fall, or spring are welcome as well. Previous delivery or driver experience is not necessary, although we welcome drivers from other delivery services or ride sharing companies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent with good written and verbal skills.
• Enjoy working with people in a fast paced and exciting environment.
• Must be able to pass a driving skills practical test administered by the company Transportation Manager.
• Must pass a pre-employment, post‑accident and random drug testing; background checks are required for all applicants for this position.
• Must be able to pass the DOT physical completed at an MBI center.
• Have a good understanding of the metropolitan area and be able to navigate from maps and directions.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, some weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with no DWI convictions, revocation, or suspensions within the past 4 years.
• No more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accident in the past 3 years.

Additional Information: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. The schedule is 5 to 6 days and willing to work weekends/paid hourly.
