Job summary

Chedraui USA in West Los Angeles is seeking a Part-time Produce Associate to join the Store Operations Team at 315 West Los Angeles. This role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, stocking fresh produce, and maintaining clean, organized shelves.

You will manage pricing, assist customers, operate the cash register, and help with in-store displays. The job requires English literacy and physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Read and write English and communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to read product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags and memos.
• Explain store information clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Follow instructions and apply common sense to tasks.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, up to 45 lbs frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise.
• Set up displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation in all store areas and parking lot.
• Operate a cash register and handle payments/refunds as trained.
• Verify eligibility when selling restricted items (if applicable).
• Assist customers with information about products and services.
• Help load purchases into customer vehicles when needed.
• Record losses and manage store supplies.
