Job summary

Kj’s Market is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to join our produce department in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, prepare produce, stock displays, and help maintain freshness and cleanliness throughout the store.

The role emphasizes strong guest service, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work as part of a team in a family-owned environment that values hometown pride.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and provide friendly interactions.
• Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
• Stock, price, rotate, and display products per standards.
• Maintain freshness and quality of produce for sale.
• Assist with unloading deliveries.
• Provide guests with product knowledge, weighing, and service.
• Maintain sanitation in backroom, cooler, and sales area.
• Relay guest requests to management.
• Inform management of temperature breakdowns.
• Perform front-end duties to ensure minimal wait times.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepares produce for display on the sales floor.
• Stocks, prices, rotates, and places product on produce displays according to Floco Foods standards.
• Maintains freshness and quality of produce product for sale.
• Assists with unloading of product upon delivery.
• Provides guests service with product knowledge, preparation, and product weighing.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler and sales area.
• Communicate guests requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to management.
• Performs front-end duties to ensure “no noticeable wait.”
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
