Job summary

Harps is seeking a Produce Clerk to support the Produce Department operations, including readiness, staffing, pricing, and cleanliness. You will assist with replenishment, merchandising, and inventory processes, ensuring product quality and accurate displays.

You will also help with fresh food preparation, apply safety standards, and resolve issues through practical problem solving. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential to exceed expectations daily.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies up to 60 pounds.
• Stands and walks continuously during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Produce Department operations including readiness, staffing, price maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Oversee replenishment and inventory processes including ordering and receiving.
• Maintain merchandising and sales floor standards, displays, signing, and product placement.
• Assist in fresh food preparation and production while following food safety standards.
• Apply problem‑solving and a safety/quality orientation in daily tasks.
• Build relationships with teammates and customers to deliver great service.
• Uphold Harps’ policies and ensure attendance, dress, and safe work environment compliance.
