Job summary

Harps Food & Pharmacy is seeking a Produce Clerk to support department operations, replenishment, merchandising, and fresh food production. You will help maintain readiness, safety, and quality while delivering friendly service.

You will build relationships with customers and colleagues, follow SMILE guidelines, and uphold Harps' standards. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and a commitment to accurate inventory and displays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Moves/handles merchandise up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Stands and walks continuously during shift.
• May work in varying weather conditions and store environments.
• Employment contingent upon background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and colleagues to enhance service.
• Support produce department operations, staffing, pricing, and cleanliness.
• Manage replenishment: ordering, receiving, invoicing, and back stock.
• Maintain merchandising standards, displays, signing, and signage.
• Oversee fresh food preparation and food-safety standards.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address issues promptly.
• Uphold safety and quality orientation in daily work.
• Deliver customer service following SMILE program guidelines.
