Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring a Produce Clerk to keep the produce department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service. You will rotate product, check deliveries, and assist customers with their needs in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes sanitation, accuracy in stocking, and following department guidelines. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the store operations team.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile and assisting their needs.
• Review merchandise for freshness and rotate product to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure adequate product supply and prepare a daily production/stock list.
• Check in product, put product away, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product as necessary.
• Practice proper sanitation and keep the work area clean, neat, and safe.
