Job summary

ShopRite of Hatfield is seeking a Produce Department Associate to deliver a great customer experience while pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise. You will maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting current promotions, and ensuring accurate product handling, rotation, and display.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills for pricing and transactions.
• Stand/walk for scheduled shift; lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Work with various produce and related products; follow safety and sanitation rules.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers with prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized Produce Department.
• Differentiate produce varieties by taste, seasonality and use.
• Receive, price, rotate, and restock products to ensure quality.
• Maintain sanitation standards and QA practices.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.
• Display merchandise attractively and manage stock levels.
• Follow safety and company policies and attendance rules.
