Job summary

ShopRite of Fairless Hills is seeking a Produce Department Associate to deliver a great customer experience while pricing, stocking and rotating produce. Maintain a neat, clean department and perform tasks safely per company policy.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining product differences, following receiving and price marking procedures, maintaining sanitation, and upholding QA standards. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work a full shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Greet all Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Promote current charitable promotions to Customers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Differentiate between various types of produce and related merchandise.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and price marking to ensure quality and rotation.
