Job summary

You will assist the department manager in achieving sales goals and uphold our Customer 1st strategy while guiding associates with a respectful, honest approach.

Responsibilities include promoting store brands, answering customer questions, preparing produce items, maintaining inventory, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and maintain temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Practice preventive maintenance and report repairs.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity to store management.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced or stressful environments.
• Manage conflict in a calm, cooperative manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Provide support for interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
