Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Produce Clerk to ensure displays are stocked, clean, and presentable. You will trim, rotate, and replenish produce, assist customers, and support department operations while upholding food safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Smile, greet, and assist customers courteously.
• Stock, trim, rotate, and replenish produce items for freshness.
• Load, transport, and organize produce from coolers to the sales floor.
• Handle produce carefully to prevent waste and report quality issues.
• Follow health, safety, and company policies; participate in Vallarta’s Safety Program.
• Clean displays, equipment, and floors; maintain sanitation standards.
• Support coworkers and communicate with supervisors to meet department goals.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operations.
