Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep produce displays stocked, clean, and organized while ensuring freshness and quality. You will assist customers, support department operations, and adhere to Vallarta’s food safety standards.

You will stock, rotate, and replenish items, help with merchandising plans, and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Basic English required.
• Experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with produce needs.
• Stock, trim, rotate, and replenish produce items for freshness.
• Load, transport, and organize produce merchandise from storage to sales floor.
• Handle produce carefully to prevent waste and report quality issues.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines for sanitation.
• Maintain clean displays, equipment, and floors.
• Collaborate with team and follow merchandising plans.
