Mother’s Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to maintain fresh produce displays and deliver exceptional customer service. You will present high-quality fruits and vegetables, assist guests with selections, and ensure the department operates safely and efficiently.

• Previous produce, grocery, or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displays to company standards.
• Ensure proper product rotation, freshness, and quality control.
• Assist customers with produce selection, product questions, and meal ideas.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in the produce department.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership.
• Remove damaged, expired, or unsellable items promptly.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and food-handling standards.
• Promote Mother’s Market values, including wellness, sustainability, and community.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support overall store operations.

Produce Clerk

The Produce Clerk at Mother’s Market is responsible for maintaining fresh, high-quality produce displays while delivering exceptional customer service. Produce Clerks are ambassadors of Mother’s Market’s commitment to health and wellness, ensuring that fruits and vegetables are handled with care and presented beautifully to create an inviting shopping experience for every guest.

Wage Range

$18-$24/hour
