Responsibilities

• Assists customers with produce selection and questions under direct supervision of Produce Manager.
• Plays a key role in cleaning, filling, and rotating perishable displays to maintain product quality.
• Handles lifting requirements (up to 60 lbs), bending, standing, stooping for prolonged periods, as part of normal store operations.
• Ensures compliance with food safety and store policies.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish and English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
