Fiesta Mart is seeking a Produce Clerk in Houston, TX to support the Produce Manager with customer service, display maintenance, and rotating perishable items. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Candidates should have basic bilingual communication (Spanish/English) and be comfortable interacting with customers.

Qualifikationen

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Job Duties

Under direct supervision of Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service. Assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the perishable (produce) displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
