Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver welcoming, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, share product knowledge, and maintain attractive displays while supporting stocking and merchandising tasks.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring physical activity and the ability to use store tech. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
