Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Engage with Guests: Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone by assisting with finding items, taking special orders, and resolving guest concerns.
• Maintain Stock Levels: Keep all items well-stocked and displayed according to company standards. Rotate products using the first-in, first-out method to ensure freshness.
• Ensure Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and cooler, log produce temperatures, and complete rotation and shrink sheets daily.
• Maintain Supplies & Produce Cooler: Ensure availability of produce supplies such as bags and twist ties. Rotate cooler stock and order specific products as needed.
• Teamwork: Support team functions and perform additional duties as needed.
• Honor Commitments: Attend work regularly and punctually, providing notice for absences and arranging replacements when necessary.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage positively with guests and provide excellent service.
• Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety policies and ability to recognize hazards, using equipment safely.
• Knowledge: Understanding of retail food operations and perishables.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to perform essential duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at a fast pace, and possibly being exposed to extreme temperatures. Accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

• Part-time position, up to 28 hours per week.
• Shifts vary and may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
