Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in grocery, retail, food service, or produce environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guest service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Stock, rotate, and face produce to maintain freshness and presentation.
• Build and maintain attractive displays highlighting quality and promoting sales.
• Inspect produce for freshness and remove damaged items.
• Assist guests with product selection and provide information on varieties and ripeness.
• Cut, prepare, and package fresh produce following safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of produce items including seasonality and pricing.
• Ensure accurate signage, labeling, and pricing.
• Monitor inventory and report low or damaged items.
• Keep prep areas and sales floor clean, organized and safe.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Operate scales, scanners, and related equipment accurately.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership.
• Support store-wide efficiency and guest hospitality goals.
• Adhere to policies including attendance and dress code.
• Participate in trainings and continuous learning.
• Remain productive during slower periods by restocking and cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visits
• Stock, rotate, and face produce to maintain freshness, minimize waste, and ensure an appealing presentation
• Build and maintain full, attractive displays that highlight product quality and promote sales
• Inspect products for freshness and remove damaged or spoiled items to uphold quality standards
• Assist guests with product selection, answering questions about varieties, ripeness, and handling
• Cut, prepare, and package fresh produce items following food safety and merchandising standards
• Develop and maintain knowledge of produce items, including seasonality, pricing, and location
• Ensure accurate signage, labeling, and pricing
• Monitor inventory levels and report low, excess, or damaged items to support product availability and reduce shrink
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including prep areas and sales floor
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards
• Operate scales, scanners, and related equipment accurately
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leadership to support efficient department operations
• Collaborate across departments to support storewide efficiency and guest hospitality goals
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and dress code standards
• Support loss prevention efforts by staying alert and following proper procedures
