Super One Foods in Pequot Lakes, MN is hiring for a friendly, energetic produce department associate. You will work hands-on with produce items, trim, rotate and display the finest items for customers, and share knowledge to educate shoppers on world produce varieties.

The role emphasizes customer service, learning about products, and assisting customers with recommendations while supporting afternoon/evening shifts in a part-time capacity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, attractive produce displays and rotate stock.

• Perform duties in afternoons and evenings as shifts vary.
• Support the produce department daily operations in a grocery setting.

Description

We are seeking to hire a friendly, energetic, and helpful person to work in our produce department. A successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn and work with produce items from virtually all around the world. The need to work hands on with all products is a must. The need to trim, rotate and fill produce items constantly to ensure the presentation of the finest and freshest items to our customers for purchasing. Employees not only learn about each produce item, but they will also be required to share, educate and recommend items to customers with their produce purchases. The product mix is constantly changing with each growing season, as well as holiday items and local favorites.

Job Requirements

• An employee will be required to lift, stand, walk and work with their hands and fingers throughout their entire work shift.
• Lifting items and product up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
