Job summary

Super One Foods in Pequot Lakes, MN is hiring for a friendly, energetic deli team member. You will learn food safety and proper food preparation techniques while developing skills in presenting prepared foods and learning to prepare and cook menu items.

You will learn slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing merchandise to store standards, while delivering strong customer service and multitasking.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices
• Ability to learn deli procedures and display techniques

Responsibilities

• Learn food safety and proper food preparation techniques.
• Teach and perform slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing of merchandise to store standards.
• Provide strong customer service and handle multiple tasks in a busy deli environment.
• Assist with menu item preparation and learning to cook as needed.
• Stand for up to 8 hours and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Description

We are looking to hire a friendly, energetic, and helpful person to work in our deli department. A successful candidate will need to learn food safety and proper food preparation techniques. This position teaches creative presentations of prepared foods as well as learning to prepare and cook menu items. Employees will learn slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing of merchandise according to store standards. Strong customer service skills along with multitasking are essential.

Employees will be required to stand for up to an 8-hour shift.

• Employees must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
