Job summary

Carlie C's IGA is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to support daily operations in the grocery department. You will stock produce counters, assist customers, and ensure product quality and display standards are met.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, preparing items for sale, maintaining clean shelves and back room, and helping unload deliveries. A positive attitude and reliability are essential for success in this role. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must read shelf tags, labels and signs.
• Must write invoices and maintain paperwork.

A Produce Clerk at Carlie C’s IGA realizes that providing prompt and friendly customer service is priority #1. Being courteous and cooperative with both customer and coworker is a critical aspect of maximizing sales and building business for years to come.
As a Produce Clerk, you’ll handle everything from stocking the produce counters, to slicing melons, and everything in between. Preparing and Serving, Inventory and Cleaning. It’s all a part of the Carlie C’s Produce Department. How well you perform these things and more will determine how successful you and the department are.
