Responsibilities

• Promote Corporate Brands to customers
• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions regarding products and throughout the store
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries
• Assist with preparing produce platters/trays
• Inform customers of produce specials
• Recommend products to customers
• Prepare, package, label, and inventory merchandise
• Inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
• Report product discrepancies to the department manager
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Stay current with ads and promotions
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and maintain logs
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed
• Report accidents and safety risks
• Handle stressful situations and manage conflict professionally
• Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed

Qualifications
