PRODUCE/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Current food handler's permit upon employment

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Retail experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, or writing)

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with produce platter/tray preparation
  • Inform customers of specials and recommend products

  • Ensure product quality and freshness, and manage inventory
  • Report discrepancies and safety issues
  • Maintain proper temperatures and safety protocols
  • Support a safe environment by practicing preventive maintenance and reporting hazards
  • Handle customer and employee accidents appropriately
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts constructively
  • Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business confidentiality
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
