Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Current food handler's permit upon employment
Desired Previous Job Experience:
- Retail experience
- Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, or writing)
Responsibilities include:
- Model the 3A's of Friendly: acknowledge, assist, and appreciate customers
- Promote corporate brands and build trust among colleagues
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer questions
- Assist with produce platter/tray preparation
- Inform customers of specials and recommend products
- Prepare, package, label, and inventory merchandise
- Ensure product quality and freshness, and manage inventory
- Report discrepancies and safety issues
- Maintain proper temperatures and safety protocols
- Support a safe environment by practicing preventive maintenance and reporting hazards
- Handle customer and employee accidents appropriately
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts constructively
- Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business confidentiality
- Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
