Responsibilities

• Promote Corporate Brands to customers
• Foster trust and respect among associates
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store services
• Maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions
• Assist with preparing produce platters/trays
• Inform customers of produce specials
• Recommend products to ensure customer satisfaction
• Properly prepare, package, label, and inventory merchandise
• Inspect products for quality and freshness, and take appropriate action
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to the manager
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and ads
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed
• Report accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities to management
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues

Qualifications
