Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Current food handler's permit upon employment
Desired Previous Job Experience:
- Retail experience
- Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)
Key Responsibilities:
- Model the 3A's of Friendly: acknowledge, assist, and appreciate customers
- Promote corporate brands and foster trust and respect among associates
- Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering product questions and making suggestions
- Maintain knowledge of products and assist with produce platters/trays and specials
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; ensure quality and freshness
- Maintain proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers
- Follow safety protocols, report unsafe conditions, and participate in preventive maintenance
- Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities to management
