Produce Clerk (Administrative)

Come join our Uncle Giuseppe's family as a PT Produce Clerk at our Morris Plainsstore! If you love our food, you will love our Produce!! In this role you will collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation for our customers. All of our produce is fresh, and must be handled, prepared and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.

Responsibilities
Responsible for stocking the Produce Department which includes presentation of product, facing, filling, and organizing product itemsThe Produce Clerk will also be responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the Produce Department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high quality offeringsWill also ensure proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability and answers questions from customers in a friendly and helpful mannerOther duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of ageHS diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of math, weights, and measuresBe dependable and reliableHave an outgoing and friendly demeanor; a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customersStrong communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environmentMust be able to speak, read and communicate in the English languageAdhere to all safety, health, weights, and measures regulations
