Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Skilled and Devoted Team Members
- Comply with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified by your manager and in the Team Member Manual.
- Achieve Certification of Produce Clerk by participation in orientation, certification, on-line training, and continued training.
- Participate in setting and achieving goals to further your skills and engagement at time of your Evaluation.
- Guest Service / Team Work
- Deliver excellent guest service through a friendly and courteous behavior by greeting, assisting, and responding to guest’s needs.
- Maintain good working relationships with other departments to ensure smooth flow of products and service throughout the store.
- Quality and Value
- Possess knowledge and ability of all fundamentals of Produce production.
- Always soak specified items in Victory Wash for 90 seconds before cutting and displaying.
- Maintain displays by cleaning, rotating and stocking.
- Properly display product by having a good sign identifying each item, its price and country of origin.
- Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times.
- Assist in maintaining effective department security in compliance with company policy and directives.

- Maintain a clean environment inside the department.
- Promote a high level of morale and respect within department and store.
- Ensure safety for yourself and others by using equipment in a safe and cautious manner.

- Education: High School diploma or GED; or related job experience and/or training are required.
- Certificates / Licenses: Fork Lift Certificate if assigned to use fork lift. Food Handlers Certificate.
- Minimum Age: 18.

- Math: Basic math skills required.
- Computer: Basic computer skills required.
