Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene, NH is seeking a Produce Associate to keep the Produce department well-stocked and visually appealing. You will engage with shoppers, help them find fresh locally-sourced items, and maintain vibrant displays.

The role emphasizes stocking, rotating inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service in a friendly, community-focused setting. Schedule Tue–Sat, 6am–2pm, with a starting pay around $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail grocery environment preferred.
• Strong communication and friendly customer interaction.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.

If you have a passion for fresh, seasonal food and enjoy creating eye-catching displays, you'll feel right at home with our team. We are looking for someone who loves to talk about great food and connect with our community. Join us in celebrating the hard work of our local growers and bring a splash of color to our cooperative every day!

Stock the Produce department, which includes presentation of product, facing and filling. Proper stocking and rotation of merchandise to ensure fresh vibrant displays. Maintain proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability. Care for plants, seedlings and florals. Superior customer service is a must.

The purpose of this position is to give exceptional customer service to shoppers by providing a well-stocked, attractive department. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday- 6am to 2pm

You must be available for this schedule in order to be considered

Pay Range: Begins at $17.00 with additional compensation for experience
