Job summary

Kroger in Sandy, Utah is seeking a front-end/customer service associate dedicated to creating outstanding customer experiences and maintaining a safe, clean store environment. You will support the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals and help customers with questions about products.

You will engage shoppers, promote store brands, provide product recommendations, assist with produce prep, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers and build trust and respect among associates.
• Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store; make thoughtful recommendations.
• Assist with the preparation of produce platters/trays and inform customers of produce specials.
• Recommend items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
• Review and inventory department merchandise; report discrepancies to the department manager.
