Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Laguna Beach is seeking a Produce Team Member to support receiving, prepping, stocking, and merchandising in accordance with WFM standards. You’ll help maintain a clean, well-stocked Produce floor and provide courteous customer service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and safety, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. No prior retail experience is required, and associates are encouraged to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, checking codes, rotating stock, and removing dated products.
• Assists with organization and display of volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides courteous, friendly service and answers phones promptly and professionally.
• Supports sales by proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures in daily tasks.
• Maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environments.
