Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly, guest-focused team member for the Produce department. The role involves greeting guests, preparing and displaying produce, stocking and pricing, and ensuring freshness and quality on the sales floor.

You will assist with unloading deliveries, provide product knowledge and weighing, and maintain sanitation in backroom, cooler and sales areas. Flexibility for other duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and good communication.
• Ability to work well with others in a busy store.
• Lift 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs continuously.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Effective guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and provide friendly service.
• Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
• Stock, price, rotate, and display products per standards.
• Maintain freshness and quality of produce for sale.
• Assist with unloading of product on delivery.
• Provide product knowledge, preparation, and weighing to guests.
• Keep backroom, cooler and sales area sanitary.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to management.
• Perform front-porch duties to minimize wait times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
