Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a part-time associate for the Produce department at our Maryland location. The role involves stocking, trimming and presenting fresh produce, greeting customers, and handling requests with a friendly, professional approach.

Responsibilities include maintaining display quality, ensuring accurate pricing, following health and safety guidelines, and assisting in other departments as needed. Training provided and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Part-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Keeps produce department stocked and appealing to meet customer demands.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions, handles special requests and resolves concerns promptly in a polite manner.
• Unpacks cartons and crates, cleans and trims produce, stocks area with new merchandise.
• Maintains saleable condition by rotating stock for freshness and ensuring proper signage.
• Maintains salad bar and cut fruit/vegetables as needed and assists in building displays.
