Job summary

Piggly Wiggly is seeking a Produce Associate to manage a vibrant, customer-focused produce department. You’ll ensure freshness, attractive displays, and efficient prep for ready-to-sell fruit and vegetables.

You’ll rotate stock, help unload deliveries, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment while working with a friendly team to serve our neighbors. Flexible full-time or part-time options available.

Qualifications

• Professionalism: courteous, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Physical strength: able to lift at least 50 lbs and move heavy crates.
• Attention to detail: accurately weigh and rotate produce to reduce waste.
• Team player: collaborate with management and other associates to serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Unload fresh produce from deliveries and verify against invoices.
• Rotate stock to maintain peak freshness and minimize waste.
• Prepare fruit portions for individual sale and attractive packaging.
• Keep the sales floor stocked, clean, and safe for guests.
• Sanitation: use cleaning tools to keep prep areas and storage clean.
• Safely operate slicers, knives, and wrapping stations.
