Piggly Wiggly is seeking a Produce Associate to deliver friendly, efficient customer service while handling fresh and prepared produce. You will stock, rotate, unload deliveries, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The role emphasizes attention to safety, accurate stock control, and proactive customer assistance. Candidates should be at least 18, with a High School Diploma or equivalent and basic math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Receive, unload, stock, and rotate produce stock for freshness and date control.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Operate department equipment safely and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and waste reduction.
