Overview

Produce Associate at Sam's Club. Provides produce quality decisions, ensures availability, cleanliness, and freshness. Front-line customer service with a positive member experience.

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; be flexible to business needs; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: understand quality processes for produce; trim, crisp, package, and scale products to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; follow laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
• Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage adoption.
• Be an Owner: drive department performance; stock and rotate products using perpetual inventory; ensure quality and date controls; reduce waste; assist customers per company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department; model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy and commitment.
• Complies with policies and ethics; uses Open Door Policy in business processes.
• Completes work with priorities using policies, data, and resources; communicate progress; identify improvements and adapt to change.
