Job summary

The Fresh Market in Greensboro, AL is seeking a Produce-Floral Manager to lead the department’s inventory, pricing integrity, and day-to-day operations with a focus on accuracy and excellence.

You will direct receiving, stocking, rotation standards, and prep of specialty produce items, train teammates on-the-job, and ensure friendly, efficient service for our guests, including weekends and holidays. This fast-paced role rewards attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate service recommendations and accommodating requests.
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage.
• Properly receiving/stocking of goods that follow rotation standards when replenishing product levels.
• Direct teams to handle, slice, and prepare specialty produce items, fruit and veggie platters/trays and Convenient Meal Solutions throughout the day, while maintaining quality.

About the Position:

As the Produce-Floral Manager, you are taking the lead in managing department inventory, pricing integrity and other operational processes that require significant attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position that requires efficiency and effectiveness and a passion for excellence to deliver results.

What You'll Do:

• Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service recommendations and accommodating their special requests
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage
• Properly receiving/stocking of goods that follow rotation standards when replenishing product levels
• Direct teams to handle, slice, and prepare specialty produce items, fruit and veggie platters/trays and Convenient Meal Solutions throughout the day, while maintaining quality product levels as indicated within TFM standards.

• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members “on-the-job” as well as through The Fresh Market’s internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner

Availability:

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications:
