Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Produce-Floral Manager in Greensboro to lead department inventory, pricing integrity, and operational processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The role requires directing teams to handle and prep produce items, maintaining quality and adherence to standards.

You will train staff, monitor stock levels, and ensure exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely service
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage
• Properly receiving/stocking of goods following rotation standards
• Direct teams to handle, slice, and prepare produce items and platters while maintaining quality levels

About The Position

As the Produce-Floral Manager, you are taking the lead in managing department inventory, pricing integrity and other operational processes that require significant attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position that requires efficiency and effectiveness and a passion for excellence to deliver results.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service recommendations and accommodating their special requests
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage
• Properly receiving/stocking of goods that follow rotation standards when replenishing product levels
• Direct teams to handle, slice, and prepare specialty produce items, fruit and veggie platters/trays and Convenient Meal Solutions throughout the day, while maintaining quality product levels as indicated within TFM standards.
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members 'on-the-job' as well as through The Fresh Market's internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner

Availability

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
