Position Summary

JackRabbit Manufacturing is seeking a full‑time Prodevco Beam Line Operator to join our fabrication team in Bryan, TX. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC beam processing equipment used for drilling, coping, milling, layout marking, and cutting structural steel components.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a structural steel or fabrication environment and be comfortable reading shop drawings, operating overhead cranes, and maintaining production quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate Prodevco CNC beam line equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, position, and process structural steel material
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists
• Verify dimensions and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred
• Structural steel fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment and moving steel material
