Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is hiring a Procurement and Warehouse Associate to streamline material flow from purchase requests through receipt, storage, and delivery to internal teams. The role supports production, engineering, and facility operations with organized, detail-oriented execution.

Ideal candidates are organized, resourceful, and comfortable working across procurement and hands-on warehouse tasks. You will own deliveries, inventory records, and ERP transactions to help scale our growing supply

Qualifications

1–5 years experience in procurement, shipping and warehouse operations or a related role.
Experience with ERP/inventory systems; NetSuite is strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately compare purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, quantities, and part numbers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams, with the ability to maintain organized purchasing and inventory records.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple orders, deliveries, requests, and deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, production personnel, and internal requestors.
Ability to work safely in an active warehouse and routinely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Process purchase requests, place orders with approved suppliers, and maintain confirmations, receipts, and supporting documentation.
Monitor open orders and communicate with vendors to obtain acknowledgements, shipment tracking, revised delivery dates, and resolutions for shortages or discrepancies.
Receive parcel and freight deliveries, inspect materials, and verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders and packing slips.
Complete purchasing, receiving, inventory-transfer, adjustment, and material-issue transactions within the ERP system.
Label, store, stage, and issue materials to production, engineering, facilities, and project teams, maintaining clear inventory locations.
Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and support physical inventories and audits.
Prepare outbound shipments and maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse to support material flow across operations.
