Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of professional procurement experience.
  • One year leading or supervising professional staff.
  • Additional work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and hone institute procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with policies.
  • Work with technical and business staff to maintain excellent customer service for travel and procurement.
  • Manage the effort of multiple staff involved in procurement and travel tasks.
  • Serve as SME on travel and procurement for state and federal funding sources.
  • Ensure travel and procurement tasks are executed correctly and on time; inform stakeholders of timelines.
  • Train new coordinators in procurement and travel work.
