Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a Procurement Team Lead for our Dallas, TX site. The role balances production duties with supervisory support in the absence of the supervisor, guiding the procurement team to meet process protocols.

The position emphasizes supervision, frontline leadership, and coordination with internal departments and clients to ensure accurate claims processing and timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of office experience.
• Minimum of 1 year as Procurement Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/audit and reports for Procurement and clients.
• Monitor/audit files in Procurement staff's queues for accuracy and timely claim processing.
• Assist with Procurement QC queue tickets during high volume times.
• Assist team members with questions and concerns.
• Answer emails and phone calls from Procurement and other internal departments and externally from Clients/Providers regarding claims processing concerns.

Job description

The Procurement Team Lead position is 50% production and 50% assisting and supporting direct supervisor with ensuring the team meets protocol, as well as performing supervisory dutiesduring the supervisor's absence.

This is an onsite position in Dallas, Texas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor/Audit andreports for Procurement andclients
• Monitor/Audit files in Procurement staffs individual service queues via Management Console Tool for accuracy and timely claim processing
• Assist withProcurement QC queuetickets during high volume times
• Assist team members with all questions and concerns
• Answer emails and phone calls from both Procurement and other internal departments and also externally from Clients/Providersregarding any claims processing concerns
• Additional duties asassigned

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
