Job summary

IMCD US, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to execute purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and support day-to-day supply execution. The role focuses on learning procurement processes, managing routine tasks, and developing foundational skills in supplier communication, inventory management, and issue resolution in collaboration with Supply Planning, S&OP, and Operations teams.

The candidate will contribute to procurement data accuracy and system transactions while supporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field, or 2 years of equivalent experience in purchasing/supply execution.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy; ability to follow established processes.
Proficiency in Excel and basic ERP navigation; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Execute purchase orders per planning recommendations, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Monitor open orders, delivery performance and supplier confirmations; follow up on discrepancies.
Escalate supply risks, shortages, and delivery issues to senior Purchasing Analysts or supervisors.
Communicate order status and basic supply issues to internal stakeholders such as Supply Planning and Operations.
Maintain procurement data, order records, and ERP system transactions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement execution and supplier performance.
