Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and inventory control, initially focusing on the Austin laboratory environment. This role partners with stakeholders to build scalable procurement processes, controls, and analytics to enable operational excellence.

The position will evolve toward category strategy, supplier performance management, and broader CPS collaboration across Fortrea.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships focused on value, service, risk mitigation, and innovation.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels within guidelines; monitor supplier performance.
• Support inventory, warehousing, and logistics processes; coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Develop scalable processes with stakeholders and drive process improvements.
