Job summary

Takasago International Corporation U S A. is seeking a Buyer in Teterboro, NJ to ensure uninterrupted material supply through supplier management, PO execution, and demand alignment.

You will drive order confirmations, resolve supply issues, manage past-due orders, and mitigate material risks impacting production or customer demand. Responsibilities include reviewing requirements, creating POs, monitoring shortages with SAP tools, and partnering with Strategic Procurement on MRP and sourcing

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Materials Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience; Flavor & Fragrance industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review material requirements and create purchase orders daily.
• Monitor shortages and communicate shortages proactively.
• Use SAP to assess supply risks and coordinate with Strategic Procurement.
• Develop receiving schedules and balance warehouse capacity.
• Own the weekly Buyer KPI process and report.
• Collaborate on special projects and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes.
